1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and provide reporting information.
This policy explains what cookies the Kiseki sites (thekiseki.app, app.thekiseki.app, api.thekiseki.app, docs.thekiseki.app, legal.thekiseki.app) use, what each category does, and how to manage your consent.

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled — without them the site cannot function. All other categories require your explicit opt-in (default: off in EU / UK / regions with similar consent regimes).
3. Consent banner
On your first visit, a consent banner asks you to choose which categories to allow. Until you choose, only Strictly Necessary cookies are set.
You can revisit your choice at any time via the "Privacy choices" link in the site footer.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also manage or delete cookies via your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- View what cookies are stored;
- Delete some or all cookies;
- Block cookies from specific sites or all sites;
- Get notified before a cookie is set.
Disabling Strictly Necessary cookies will break parts of the Kiseki Service (login, billing, dashboard).
5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties we work with for analytics or marketing — for example PostHog (analytics), or Meta / Google retargeting pixels if you opt in. These third parties process data per their own privacy policies; see the Sub-processors page for details.
6. Do Not Track
Kiseki respects browser-level "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals where they are sent. When DNT is on, opt-in cookies are not set even if a banner choice has not been recorded.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove tools that set cookies. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
